block attachment of tRNA to ribosome and inhibit protein synthesis - tetracycline (doxycycline)

block attachment of mRNA and inhibit protein synthesis - aminoglycosides (gentamicin)

inhibit ribosome and block protein synthesis - macrolides (erythromycin, clarithromycin)

inhibit DNA gyrace and block DNA synthesis - fluroquinolones (ciprofloxacin)

attach to protein on cell wall and weakening of cell wall and cause cell lysis - beta lactam antibiotic (penicillin)
